01Installation+

Download the installer from your account page, run the .exe and follow the on-screen instructions. OnCue Timecode works on Windows 10 and 11.

02Activation+

After subscribing you receive a licence code by email. Open OnCue Timecode, click "Activate" and paste your code. The app is now ready to use.

03Timecode setup+

Go to Settings → Timecode. Choose your source (internal clock, external LTC, MIDI MTC, Art-Net, OSC, or sACN). Set your frame rate and start the timecode to verify the signal.

04Building a cue list+

Navigate to the Cue List tab. Click "+ Add Cue", set the trigger time, label and output action. Drag to reorder. Use templates to speed up recurring shows.

05Pyro integration+

Connect your Explo TX2-70K via USB/RS232. In Settings → Pyro, select the COM port and run a safety check. Assign zones to cues in the timeline.

06OnCue Remote+

Go to Settings → Remote and click "Start server". A QR code appears — scan it from any phone on the same network. Choose a role (Operator, Viewer or E-Stop) and enter the PIN.

07Running a show+

Press the green "Run" button in the main window. The timecode starts, cues fire automatically and all events are logged in real-time.

08Reports+

After the show, OnCue generates a full report (fire log, statistics, heatmap). Find it under Reports or have it emailed automatically.
